Participation in the Second International Scientific Conference on Libyan Religious Identity

As part of our ongoing efforts to highlight and revive authentic Libyan scholarly heritage, Dr. Salah Al-Sha’ab, Deputy Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, delivered a significant academic address at the “International Scientific Conference on Libyan Religious Identity.”
The conference was organized and supervised by the Faculty of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion at Al-Asmariya Islamic University, in collaboration with the Al-Asmariya Zawiya in Zliten, and took place from September 12 to 14, 2026.
The participation featured a research paper titled:
“The Efforts of the Sheikh Al-Tahir Al-Zawi Center for Studies, Research, and Heritage Editing in Serving Libyan Heritage: Imam Hallulu as a Case Study.”
The presentation highlighted the Center’s pioneering role in editing manuscripts, disseminating knowledge, and preserving Libya’s national and religious memory. It utilized the scholarly legacy of Imam Hallulu—may Allah have mercy on him—as a living example reflecting the authenticity of our scholars and the depth of our identity.
