The book Siraj al-Muridin fi Sabil al-Din (The Lamp for Seekers on the Path of Religion) is the work of the Imam and Hafiz Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi al-Ma‘afiri al-Ishbili al-Andalusi al-Maliki (d. 543 AH).
This work is now presented in six magnificent volumes, the result of a painstaking editorial journey undertaken by Dr. Abdullah al-Turati—a process akin to carving its foundations from solid rock. He relied on ten manuscripts, one of which bears the author’s own handwriting, to offer seekers an encyclopedia on the purification of the soul and the science of spiritual admonition.
